03 / OUR APPROACH
While our searches target candidates nationwide, we also place an emphasis on those physicians with an affiliation to the state of Texas. Of the nearly 25,000 physicians graduating annually from training programs in the U.S., approximately 5,000 have some type of connection to Texas. After medical school graduation, we track and maintain on‐going communications with these candidates as they spread out across the country for training. Combined with the more than 70,000 Texas licensed physicians, we are able to ensure we maintain an on‐target and comprehensive candidate pool for our clients. Our sourcing team utilizes multiple nationwide resources (AMA, DEA, state licensing boards, etc.), along with numerous Texas resources (multiple Texas publications, Texas Medical Association, etc.) to further develop candidates. By performing a thorough and comprehensive search we are able to ensure our client finds the best candidate(s) available.

Texas Medical Associates, LLC was formed in 2007 through the merger of Physician Services (est. 1988) and RDS Medical Recruiting, Inc (est. 1997). Since that merger, we have assisted countless physician groups and medical facilities with the placement of hundreds of physicians throughout the state. To ensure we deliver an exceptional service, we keep our most experienced individuals on the front‐line. All of search consultants have a minimum of 15 years of hands‐on, physician recruitment experience and are supported by a well‐established and experienced staff. With our experience, we ensure our client‐candidate interviews are not a discovery process, rather a confirmation of the candidate's qualifications. Our thorough pre‐interview process extensively interviews, screens and qualifies all candidates transitioning into a better than 1:2 placement‐to‐ interview ratio, saving our clients' valuable time and resources.
